Weston Marine Lake

All-day, year-round sea water access for all

A sea lake for everyone

We love sea swimming, but sometimes the tides aren’t right or the weather is too wild. Marine Lake holds sea water at every state of the tide, so you can swim every day of the year – no waiting for high tide.

It’s the perfect place to train, paddle or bring the family, with nearly a century of seaside history behind it. The lake is free to use and looked after by the Mudlarks – a group of volunteers who clean, campaign and fundraise to keep it special.

Help keep the lake free for everyone

The Mudlarks are all volunteers. Every donation, every hour of litter-picking and every local sponsor goes straight into looking after Marine Lake – from water testing to the webcam.
